Britt

Britt has been the program supervisor at Nolan’s Place since it’s opening in June 2018. She was born and raised in Oliva, MN, which is where she currently resides with her husband, Alex, and their daughter. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Minnesota State University Mankato and her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Adler Graduate School. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outside, traveling, coaching and watching sports. Her favorite thing about working at Nolan’s Place is the mission, getting to work with the kids, their families and other staff members, and seeing their progression.

Stephanie B.

Stephanie has lived in Willmar for the last five years. Before moving to Willmar, she lived in Florida. She began working at Nolan’s Place in July 2018. She attended Harper Community College and Ridgewater College. She graduated from Ridgewater with her AS in Early Childhood Education and AA in Liberal Arts. She has four children: Bailey, who is 11 years old, Patrick, 6 years old, Flynn, who is 5 years old, and Ciaran, who is 1 year old. She has a dog named Ruegar. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her favorite part about working at Nolan’s Place is watching the kids progress from when they started and the joy when they are succeeding.

Courtney

Courtney is originally from Redwood Falls, but has been living in New London for the last 5 years. She has a 2 year old daughter, Oakley and a black lab/beagle mix named Tank. She has always had a passion for helping others which is seen through her history of working in group home settings and in assisted living facilities. However, having nephews growing up, it made her want to work closer with children rather than adults. That being said, Nolan’s Place was the perfect fit and she has been a part of the team since December of 2018. In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time outdoors and being around her family and friends. Her favorite thing about Nolan’s Place is developing connections with the children and watching the progress they make throughout their time here while working alongside a fun and supportive team.

Nyssa

Nyssa grew up in Litchfield before moving to Willmar four years ago. She enjoys spending her time with her dog, Jasper, and being with family and friends. Nyssa started working at Nolan’s Place in January 2019. She previously worked at a group home and nursing home before starting at Nolan’s Place and continues working as a PCA. Nyssa’s favorite part of working at Nolan’s Place is building personal relationships with the kids and watching their hard work pay off when they accomplish their goals.

Stephanie F.

Steph lives in Willmar with her 3 boys Jaedyn, Holden, and Karson, along with their mini horse (Saint Bernard), Murphy. During her free time, Steph enjoys going on road trips and spending time with her family. She went to school for cosmetology but discovered her passion rested more in helping others with special needs. She worked in a group home setting for 8 years and at a daycare center for 5 years before coming to Nolan’s Place in February 2019. Her favorite part about working at Nolan’s Place is seeing the growth from the consistency and routines that we develop with each of the kids and watching them be successful in their outside environments.

 

Becca

Becca grew up in Kandiyohi before moving to Willmar 3 years ago. She worked at a daycare center for 5 years before coming to Nolan’s Place. In her free time she likes to babysit and spend time with family and friends. Her favorite thing about working at Nolan’s Place is seeing the differences in the children and families lives from what we do each day.

Mykaela

Mykaela has lived near Willmar her entire life, aside from when she attended Minnesota State University in Mankato. She graduated from MSUM with a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Parks and Leisure Services with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation. Mykaela has worked at Nolan’s Place since August 2020. She’s also a waitress part time at a local bar and grill. Mykaela has a dog and two horses that she enjoys spending her free time with. She also likes to spend time with family and friends. Her favorite part about working at Nolan’s Place is creating irreplaceable bonds and moments with the kids, while working beside supportive staff.

Jenn

Jenn grew up in Oklahoma and moved to Willmar over 10 years ago where she resides with her husband of 21 years, Ryan, and their 3 kids Dylan, Kale, and Olivia. She has her associate’s in accounting and bachelor’s in history. Before coming to Nolan’s Place, Jenn was a special education paraprofessional at ACGC for 4 years. In her free time she likes reading and painting. Her favorite part about Nolan’s Place is the one on one time we are able to give each child.

 

Maddie D.

Maddie lives in Willmar. She is a 2021 graduate from Willmar High School. She’s currently enrolled at Ridgewater College for her generals. In the near future, she hopes to go to college to be a social worker. In her free time, she enjoys taking her dog, Cletus, on car rides and going on adventures. Her favorite thing about Nolan’s Place is being able to watch the kids grow and excel in many ways.

Maddie M.

Maddie lives near Danube and grew up in Prinsburg. She has her associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. A fun fact about Maddie is that she has been a PCA for Nolan since he was 3 years old and is one of his favorite people in the whole world! In her free time, Maddie enjoys spending time with her family, going to the lake, and hanging with her friends.

 

KS
Kaleena

Kaleena lives in Janesville, MN. She graduated from MSU Mankato with a Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders. After working as a behavior therapist and case coordinator at Minnesota Autism Center for over 10 years, she joined our team in January 2022. She has one beloved dog named Cowboy. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, especially her nieces! Her favorite part about being on our team is being able to teach parents new ways to incorporate the skills their child has learned at Nolan’s Place within their home and community.

HV
Hanna

Hanna was born and raised in Willmar. After leaving Willmar briefly to attend college, she found herself being called back to her roots. She enjoys being outside and helping her parents out at Mass Hysteria Gym. Before joining Nolan’s Place in the fall of 2021, she was previously a nanny and a camp counselor. Her favorite part about working at Nolan’s Place is getting to know the kids and learning about each of their individual personalities.

Tim

Tim is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and our Qualified Supervising Professional at Nolan’s Place. He has been working with children and families for over 25 years. He received his Master’s degree at Fuller Theological Seminary in California. He has worked with youth and families as an in-home counselor, a youth pastor for 11 years, and in a clinical setting at Community Outreach Counseling after he received his marriage and family therapist license in 2000.
